| I grew up in northwestern Illinois in the small town of Mt. Carroll Illinois. In 1981 I graduated from Mt. Carroll High School. I then attended collage part-time at ISU in Normal Illinois where my major was art. I worked and lived in Bloomington/Normal for 7 years and moved to New York City from there. In New York I worked in the service industry for 2 and ½ years before moving to Chicago Illinois where I lived for a year. Breckenridge Colorado was my next stop and it was there I met my husband Mark. A little over a year later I came over Hooser Pass. In December of 1990 I moved to Fairplay and found my home. I have lived, worked and raised my daughters Jessica and Callie here and I am now very glad to be involved the the Coyote Creek Gallery and Artist Co-op. I am very fortunate to at last have the time, space and opportunity create jewelry and a place to sell it. I believe Fairplay offers so much more opportunity than most small towns are able to. | ||
