I was born in California, not a Colorado native, but I got here as fast as I could! I moved to the Denver area in 1967 when I was very young. At an early age developed a passion for Colorado, the mountains, skiing and art and know in my heart I do not belong anywhere else.
When I was nine, I bought my first camera from a church garage sale for 50 cents, a little Brownie Holiday Box camera. From that moment on I have been irreversibly addicted to creating art through photography. I create photographs because I feel it is an intrinsic part of my own nature to capture moments of life, evoke feelings, reactions and memories much like a painter, musician or poet creates what they see or feel and want to share with others from a unique perspective.

I graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art in 1991 and have been a professional freelance photographer in the Denver area for over 20 years. I shoot a variety of things but my passion in photography is in the everyday things and life, combining photography with "Found Objects" to create a piece of art, not just a photograph. I am an avid skier, hiker, camper, a very spiritual individual and a Colorado Enthusiast. I incorporate these interests and passions in my life into the subjects that I photograph.
